The Reed Barn at Peckover House is a stunning stone built space where BlackTieDJ have provided DJ’s, Wedding Discos and up-lighting on numerous occasions.

To ensure best utilisation of the space available we tend to favour our compact shows for weddings at Peckover House. Whilst retaining the stunning starcloth booth, intelligent lighting effects and professional sound systems the proportions of the equipment utilised best suit the dimensions of The Reed Barn. The compact BlackTieDJ Wedding Show is available with either black or white starcloth effect.

Like all stone buildings Peckover Houses Reed Barn looks stunning when up-lit – the stone walls really come alive when your theme colour is projected up them and through the evening adds drama to the setting. For the ultimate contemporary look to your wedding disco up-lighting be the only lighting used for your day – installed prior to your arrival it is set to either your theme colour or another colour from your pallete for your wedding breakfast and then forms the light show for your evening changing colour with the beat of the music.

Our most popular package for Peckover House is the Eat, Drink and After Dark Wedding DJ Experience. This ensures your wedding disco is set-up prior to your arrival at the venue. We then provide background music throughout your meal and can, if required, include the provision of external speakers for the courtyard area. A radio microphone is provided for the speeches and we’ll happily “coach” the groom, father of the bride and best man in how to use the microphone ensuring everyone hears the jokes and pearls of wisdom. Throughout the wedding breakfast and first dance our lights are set to your theme and your DJ is on hand to present the cutting of your cake and the first dance in a friendly and entertaining way before we party the night away to your selection of music and guest requests.
